Accessibility Statement
Rastemex Group LLC (“Rastemex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA, is committed to making rastemex.com (the “Site”) accessible to the widest possible audience, including business users with disabilities. This statement describes our accessibility goals, the standard we work toward, the measures we have taken, the limitations we know about, and how you can reach us if you encounter a barrier.
Our Commitment
We believe that every procurement professional, engineer, and buyer should be able to research industrial and petrochemical equipment, browse our product categories, and request quotations regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project: we consider it when we design new pages, publish new product content, and select the third-party tools and plugins that power the Site. We periodically review the Site against recognized accessibility criteria and prioritize fixes for issues that block core tasks — above all, completing the Request-a-Quote form, which is the primary way customers contact us.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Our conformance target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The Site is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are working to identify and remediate the remaining gaps, with priority given to pages and functions that customers use most, including the product catalog and the Request-a-Quote form.
Measures We Take
To make the Site as accessible as possible, we have taken the following measures:
- Semantic HTML structure. Pages use meaningful headings in a logical order, landmarks, lists, and labeled form fields so that screen readers and other assistive technologies can interpret the content and communicate it accurately.
- Keyboard navigability. Interactive elements — menus, links, buttons, and the Request-a-Quote form — are designed to be operable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a logical tab order, so that users who cannot use a mouse can complete every core task.
- Sufficient color contrast. Text and essential interface elements are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds, and color is not used as the only means of conveying information.
- Alternative text for images. We provide descriptive alt text for meaningful images, including product photographs where practical, and mark purely decorative images so that assistive technologies can skip them.
- Reduced-motion support. The Site respects the “prefers-reduced-motion” setting in your operating system or browser. When reduced motion is requested, animated and cinematic page effects are minimized or disabled so that content remains comfortable for users with vestibular sensitivities.
- Accessibility toolbar. The Site includes an accessibility toolbar plugin that lets you adjust the presentation to your needs — for example, increasing text size, changing contrast, highlighting links, or pausing animations — without changing your browser settings.
- Ongoing review. We test key pages with automated accessibility checkers and manual keyboard and screen-reader spot checks, and we incorporate accessibility criteria into content updates and design changes.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content on the Site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Third-party content and plugins. Portions of the Site rely on third-party components — such as the accessibility toolbar itself, embedded maps or documents, and analytics tools — whose markup we do not fully control. These components may not meet the same accessibility standard as our own content. We take accessibility into account when selecting third-party tools and raise issues with vendors when we find them.
- Supplier product imagery and documents. Many product photographs, technical drawings, and datasheets are supplied by manufacturers and suppliers. Some of these images may lack complete alternative text, and some supplier PDFs may not be tagged for screen readers. If you need the information contained in any product image or document in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide the details by email in text form.
- Legacy content. Older pages published before our current standards were adopted may contain heading, contrast, or alt-text issues that have not yet been remediated.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us — reports from real users are one of the most valuable inputs to our remediation work.
Compatibility
The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, on desktop and mobile devices, and with widely used screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver in combination with those browsers. The Site is built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and core content — including product information and the Request-a-Quote form — is intended to remain usable when advanced visual effects are unavailable or disabled. The Site may not display or function correctly in very old browsers that are no longer maintained, and we recommend keeping your browser and assistive technology up to date for the best experience.

Because we do not offer telephone support, email and the website form are our contact channels; if the form itself is the barrier, please use email. We try to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days and to propose a fix or a workaround — such as providing the content by email in an accessible format — as quickly as we reasonably can.
